IQainAR- Enhancement of internal quality assurance of education in teaching, learning and assessment in HEIs of Azerbaijan and Russia’ 

IQainAR is an Erasmus + CBHE project, co-financed by the European Commission, whose main objective is to seek to support the improvement and development of the internal quality assurance of Higher Education Institutions (HEI) of partner countries with quality standards of the EU as a benchmark. In addition to strengthening the implementation of local, regional and national policies and strategies of HEIs.
June
On the 17th of June consortium partners had a project coordinators meeting. Thee overarching aim was to consolidate data and share outcomes of the tasks that have been done within the first months of the project, as well as to reflect on the main challenges and drawbacks linked to the performance of the project tasks. Apart from the analysis of the completed tasks the consortium members planned further tasks and activities and focused on the meeting in September 2021.
May
In the month of May, the list of Key Indicators and related Key Performance Indicators for IQA has been finalized. The key indicators were used for preparing the surveys which all partners have sent out to students, employees, students, and many more stakeholders.
Thus, the first milestone in this project: to collect data from the stakeholders has been reached.  The purpose of these questionnaires is to analyze the perception of the quality of an HEI’s internal quality assurance system in the view of different stakeholders. 
Data will be analyzed with a view to identifying differences in perception between EU and Russian/Aserbaidschan Higher Education Institutions. 
As laid out in the initial presentation, this “baseline study” aims at “...identifying  the efficient students-centered approaches in IQA, also to identify the level of satisfaction of students by their universities, as well as a level of satisfaction of employers by the graduates.”
Also, another survey is planned to measure the overall outcome after the implementation of the project. 
The next step is to analyze the data of the survey and to finalize WP 1. Afterward, we would start with WP2. 
April
On the 21st of April Financial University presented IQAinAR project within the IV International conference arranged by the Moscow City University "Lifelong learning in the Context of the Future: An Ecosystem View of New Literacy" (online)
The conference aimed to develop a new perception of ecosystem of education and new literacy to create effective practices and quality driven education, as well as a model of lifelong learning. In this context, presentation on IQAinAR rationale and expected outcomes contributed to the development of lifelong learning practices and put forward fundamental questions of the quality of lifelong learning in teaching, learning and assessment, the integration of the LLL model into university ecosystem and the IQA system. 
March
Each partner from RU and AZ carried out an internal consultancy to observe their quality status within their institution, while the EU partners provided data on their institutional practices. During the seminar held on March 10, the consortium members had the opportunity to share good practices and discuss the IQA system in HEIs. The data obtained was collected from the sharing of the partners regarding a series of questions:

- Which national standards are important for IQA implementation and why?
- How could accreditation standards facilitate the effective development of an IQA system?
- How can student satisfaction and career success be enhanced through an IQA system?
- What are the key factors in monitoring the effective IQA system implementation?
- Identify and discuss key strengths and how such factors can support in achieving better results in education delivery?
- Which indicators do you consider the most influential for IQA? Why?
February
On February 16, the Kick-off meeting of the project 'IQainAR- Enhancement of internal quality assurance of education in teaching, learning and assessment in HEIs of Azerbaijan and Russia' took place. The meeting was held online due to the current circumstances of the pandemic. However, all partners participated in it. The following activities were developed during the meeting:
