Oxfordshire's Budget 2018-19

It’s that time of year again, and we’re preparing  a new budget; having made difficult choices in previous years to manage a combination of squeezed budgets and the fact that more people need council services.

Read more about Oxfordshire's budget here

Although proposed budget changes are not as extensive as in many previous years since 2010, like any organisation the council still has rising financial pressures that need to be matched by new savings so that a balanced budget can be proposed. You can find out more here - and we’d encourage you to let us know what you think.

Thriving Communities, for everyone in Oxfordshire

When putting our budget together we’ve followed some basic principles about what we’re here to do. You can find out what they are here, including our long term aims and priorities.

Looking to try something new? We have a wide range of Oxfordshire jobs across social care, libraries, fire and rescue, education, museums, roads and transport, environment, planning and economic growth. Find out more, and apply online
