The checks that can catch a silent killer

Just six months ago Marion Evans would be the first to admit she was a little on the heavy side but it was an NHS health check that really caught her attention.

“I had no idea that my blood pressure was so dangerously high. I had no symptoms and can see why it’s branded the silent killer. My results scared me.”

NHS Health Checks are available to anyone between the ages of 40 and 74 who haven’t already been diagnosed with an existing cardiovascular condition. Check out Marion’s story to find out how you can take advantage of this free service.
