We're all adjusting to new ways of life. Unfortunately, that comes with a few set-backs but we are choosing this time to reinvent some of our projects, timelines, processes and branding for the Community Farm Land Trust  We are sorry to announce that we are cancelling our Farms Forever event this year in the physical sense but are planning something online in its place.

We also know that a lot of local small businesses are struggling right now so in effort to lessen the stress on them by asking for donations for our fundraiser, we are reaching out to individual community members for donations.  We are seeking experiences for people such as a stay at cabin in the mountains, a weekend getaway to the beach, as well as any food, farm and garden related items.

We also know there a lot of people that really want to give back. One possibility to help both CLFT AND local businesses out is to purchase  a gift card from a local restaurant or shop that you love in town and donate it to our fundraiser.  We are all having to get more creative in how we do things in the new world. CFLT is also navigating these waters in terms of how we fundraise and solicit donations. We are open to other suggestions and creative ideas on how are community could help us solicit items.  Feel free to tag us on social media to show us how you are contributing to our efforts or send your suggestions to Jeanine or Patrick.  If you care about protecting farmland for future generations and are able to give to our cause during this difficult time we would be so thankful for whatever you are able to contribute.

Thanks for you consideration.
Please contact
Jeanine at CLFT about your donation!
Calling all Crafters, Artists and Artisans!

Do you make beautiful things?  Have you found yourself with more time to do your hobbies, your art, or your craft throughout this pandemic?  Are you looking for a way to give back to your community?  Well, your search is over!  We would gladly take homemade items off your hands for our online auction and fundraiser.  So dust off your knitting needles, sharpen your blades and make something wonderful that people would be excited to bid on for our Virtual Farms Forever event.

Not as handy as you would like to be?  No worries.  Maybe you know someone who is super talented and you have always admire their work? Help us spread the word that we are looking for handcrafted items such as woodworking items, quilts, scarves, blankets, masks, candles, jewelry, ceramics and more! Remember our end goal is to raise money for the work that we do to preserve working farmland in our community!  That being said, typically in the past, our audience has preferred functional art items over high priced paintings, sculptures etc.

Thank you so much for considering a donation of your handmade goods to our cause! We appreciate our community and could not do something like this without YOU!

Please feel free to contact Jeanine with any donations or donation ideas!
