Do you have an issue with scarring?
Prior to developing the Skin SOS Balm, I had so many people looking for information and help on this topic so this is where development of a specific product to target this common problem arose.  There are many different types of scars, and some will respond better than others to treatment,  but generally the oils used in the balm can be extremely helpful to scars.  Specifically lavender, german chamomile, helichrysum & carrot seed oil, along with carrier oil/macerate of comfrey, rosehip, olive and wheatgerm.  The balm is great - ready to use - but if you prefer to use oils in a different way, I would blend the comfrey macerate 10ml and the rosehip, 5ml with lavender 6 drops, german chamomile 2 drops and carrot seed oil 2 drops.  Use a little of this blend regularly on the scarring area, two or three times a day.  The carrier oils deal with skin cell regeneration and add moisture and soothe redness.  The essential oils help with this too, but also the lavender is antiseptic, helps with wound healing and so does german chamomile as well as being anti-inflammatory (the comfrey is too). German chamomile is one of my favourite oils and it has anti-allergy properties too, so is excellent for a more sensitive skin.   Carrot seed oil is really great for skin cell renewal - good also for irritated skin and aging skin.  We will also later hope to introduce a ready to use oil blend too, but meantime if you create your own blend, you can be assured that the ingredients in it, (and in the Skin SOS Balm) are entirely organic and wildcrafted and free from any petrochemicals that are so widely used in other products.  If you have a complex medical history/medications always check with your GP before using essential oils, or ask a qualified aromatherapist

A massive welcome and thanks to our fab new outlet where you can purchase our products within the next few days

Pillars of Hercules,
Falkland, Cupar, Fife.

I fell in love immediately with this organic farm shop and café.  It has an amazing look and feel from the moment you park the car, the shop stocks everything organic that I like to buy.  On our first visit, we only had time for a quick food shop followed by a cup of organic tea and a cake in the café.  The cake was melt in the mouth and deliciously organic.  We will be back again for sure!  I am really delighted that you will soon be able to buy my products at Pillar of Hercules.
