The James C. Bonbright Center for the Study of Regulation is now broadening its scope to address regulation across a wide range of market sectors.

Elena Karahanna

Elena Karahanna, the L. Edmund Rast Professor of Business in the Management Information Systems Department, studies the use of information systems in health care while helping prepare graduate students to conduct high-impact scholarship of their own.

Terry climbs in latest 'U.S. News' rankings

The Terry College’s undergraduate business programs moved up two spots in the latest U.S. News and World Report rankings landing at No. 27 overall and 17th among public business schools. In addition, four Terry academic programs were ranked among the nation’s best. The Risk Management and Insurance Program is ranked No. 3, Real Estate came in at No. 4, Accounting is No. 13, and Management Information Systems is ranked No. 16.

2016 grad wins Fulbright

Alice Naghshineh, an economics, mathematics and Arabic major, is one of a record 19 UGA students and recent alumni who were offered international travel-study grants from the Fulbright U.S. Student Program for the 2016-2017 academic year.

Terry professor talks baseball pay

A recent article in The Atlantic, about the tiny wages that Major League Baseball pays to thousands of players quoted Nathaniel Grow, an associate professor of legal studies. Grow is an expert in the field. His book Baseball on Trial: The Origin of Baseball's Antitrust Exemption received the Larry Ritter Book Award in 2015.

EY exec shares tips for success

Karole Lloyd, the vice chair and southeast regional managing partner at EY, advised students to focus on "the hand you're dealt" at her recent Terry Leadership Speaker Series talk. A video of the talk is also available.

Associate dean chosen for SEC leadership program

Marisa Anne Pagnattaro, associate dean for research and graduate programs and the I.W. Cousins Professor of Business Ethics at Terry, has been selected as one of the university's 2016-2017 SEC Academic Leadership Development Program Fellows.

Terry faculty awards presented

Five Terry faculty members received 2016 Outstanding Faculty Awards for their contributions to the college’s academic mission.
