TextExpander 4.2.1

Hi Erik,

TextExpander 4.2.1 is now available from Smile. We've resolved a case where there could be excessive CPU use on some systems, and we've made other fixes and improvements.

If TextExpander appeared as an "App Using Significant Energy" on your Mac, that should not happen any more.

To update, choose "Check for Update" from the TextExpander menu. (This update is free to registered users of TextExpander 4.)

Here's a rundown of what is new in this update:
• Resolves excessive CPU use which occurred on some systems after several expansions
• Resolves a timing issue (race condition) in 4.2 which can cause crashes upon expansion on certain systems
• Pre-fills URL field if Add Group from URL is selected with a URL on the pasteboard
• Other fixes and improvements

For even more info on what’s new, please see our detailed release notes.

As always, we appreciate your support and your feedback. If you have any questions, email us at support@smilesoftware.com. Our fast and friendly support team is ready to help!
