Alumni Spotlight: Olivia Brown
Hello! My name is Olivia Brown, and I'm a proud alumna of CfH at UVA (go hoos!) I'm so excited to have almost completed my first year as a Challah for Hunger advisor with my 3 amazing chapters: University of Georgia, Michigan State University, and American University.
Even though this is only my first year advising chapters, it's been a great experience on the other side of the Challah-sphere. I've been able to provide support and ideas for my chapters and helped them when they're stuck or have questions. I love that, as advisors, we're able to use our own experience to help shape those of current undergrads volunteering their time and effort to make CfH successful.
I can't wait to see what the future has in store for my chapters and me, though I'm sure it will only continue to go up!
CfH volunteers at Duke selling challah at an activity fair on campus.
CfH and the LA Museum of the Holocaust is hosting a L'Dough V'Dough as part of the Jewish Federation Community Service Day on April 3, 2016. This is a program where people bake challah with Holocaust survivors and the survivors share their stories. If interested, emailNathan at email@example.com.
