URGENT ALERT: Call, email, fax to save Prop. 8
If just 1 clerk abides by Constitution, homosexual 'marriages' can be limited

As SaveCalifornia.com has been telling you, Proposition 8 reserving marriage licenses for only "a man and a woman" is still enforceable California law. The homosexual "marriage" licenses being issued under pressure by corrupt state officials are illegal and unconstitutional.

In order to restore the rule of law and to restore the standard of natural, man-woman marriages in as many counties as possible, SaveCalifornia.com urges you to contact key county clerks -- who have standing in court as marriage officials -- who can save Prop. 8 by suing the State of California with the pro bono help of Christian-values legal organizations.

We need at least one clerk to sue to protect most California counties and most California children from the bad role model of unnatural and unhealthy homosexual "marriages." Time is ticking, so please add your voice by taking action today. And share with your friends!

Your urgent action steps

A. SEE OUR TARGET LIST and contact up to 18 county clerk-recorders in California (All of these county clerks are currently issuing marriage licenses, but most don't know it's illegal and unconstitutional for them to do so, and what they can do to restore real marriage.)

B. WHAT TO SAY AND WRITE: When you call, leave the message for the clerk-recorder, "Please sue to uphold Prop. 8 in your county." If you get the clerk on the line, explain the points below. Best is to also email or fax them them these important four points with links:

1. As a public servant accountable to the county voters, you have sworn to uphold the state Constitution and the written statutes. In the controversy over same-sex marriage licenses, you must abide by the written constitution and what it tells you to do, not bow down to what a biased state official or agency opines and tells you to do.

2. Prop. 8 is enforceable statewide until an appellate court declares it unconstitutional. Neither the California Supreme Court or the U.S. Supreme Court has done so, and the federal appeals court ruling has been vacated. See California Constitution, Article 3, Section 3.5.

3. Same-sex marriage licenses cannot be issued statewide without due process of law. The Northern District federal court in California has a jurisdiction of only 15 counties, in the San Francisco Bay Area and along the Northern California coast (see map). What's more, due to its legal construction, the August 2010 ruling of retired judge Vaughn Walker may only apply to the four individual plaintiffs, or only in Alameda and Los Angeles counties, which were named as defendants in the Prop. 8 lawsuit.

As the San Francisco Chronicle reported in the days after the U.S. Supreme Court letting Walker's ruling stand, "The scope of that decision is not entirely clear. On the one hand, the two couples' lawsuit was not a statewide class action, and some legal analysts have questioned whether the judge could grant anyone the right to marry except for those two couples, and perhaps others in their home counties of Alameda and Los Angeles."

4. It is your sworn duty to support and defend the California Constitution and to faithfully abide by it. Please therefore cease from issuing marriage licenses to any couple but a qualified man and woman, and accept pro bono legal help to defend your law-abiding, constitutional stance in court.
