2014 UK Mountainboard Series - Round 3
Why you should go
It’s the first time the UK Series has come to Another World which is sure to make for some interesting racing and tricks as many riders get to grips with a BoarderX track and Freestyle jumps they've never ridden before.
What you need to know
When: Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June.
Where: Another World Adventure Centre, Ogden, Halifax, HX2 8YB. (Map)
What's happening when
Saturday - BoarderX;
9:00 - Registration & Open Practice.
10:30 - Rider's Meeting
11:00 - Registration closes.
11:30 - Qualification: Groms, Juniors, Ladies, Masters, Seniors, Pro.
13:00 - Knockouts: Groms, Juniors, Ladies, Masters, Seniors, Pro.
15:30 - Prize-giving.
A few things to remember:
- There will be no break between Qualification races and Knockouts in the BoarderX.
- There will be no uplift at this event.
Sunday - Freestyle;
9:00 - Registration & Open Practice.
10:30 - Rider's Meeting.
11:00 - Registration closes.
11:30 - Jam 1: Groms and two other categories TBC. 1hr
13:00 - Jam 2: Pro and two other categories TBC.1hr
15:00 - Prize-giving.
Camping
Camping will be available from Friday for £5 per person per night. There are 2 areas; the boarders area where we expect life to be a little more lively but not too lively, and the family area which will be quieter with a certain amount of vehicular access. No food or drink will be allowed outside the camping area.
You will need to pay on entry to the camping field so please bring cash with you
Parking
Unfortunately due to the amount of rain vehicles will not be allowed into the main camping area, but parking is only 50 yards away, which is where vans, motorhomes, etc. will be parking.
Fires
Fires will only be allowed if they are in a fire pit or the fire is off the ground.
There will be a communal fire in the boarders camping area.
Refreshments
There will be refreshments available all day with bacon/sausage butties, burgers, hot dogs, etc. as well as hot and cold drinks.
Entertainment
On the Saturday evening there will be bands and entertainment in our cabin and marquee area, there will also be a fully stocked and licensed bar.
There will also be loads of exciting activities to try from 10am till 5pm both days. Tickets are £3 per activity. All day wristbands can be bought before the 19th June for £20, or £25 on the day.
