We are absolutely delighted to have Chris Fortune as a guest in our kitchen for one night only Thursday 5 July. Chris will be taking us through the basics of Smoking & Preserving at Home - demonstrating and  serving up Smoked Fish, Smoked Chicken, and some simple preserves.
Chris Fortune is passionate about honest, home-grown or home-produced food. He has worked as a chef on a super yacht, established and run restaurants and a seafood cooking school in Marlborough.
He is a founding member of the Farmers' Market movement, Slow Food Marlborough and the Marlborough Farmers Market, as well as the convenor of judges for the Taste Magazine New Zealand Farmers Markets Awards.
He is the author of 2 very popular cookbooks - Pick, Preserve, Serve & The Kiwi Sizzler Smoking Book.
