New Sensory Storytime A Note from the Director: Library Improvements
The Library continues to move forward with our commitment to use funds from the 2015 millage replacement to improve our services and building. We recently completed a garden access and drainage project that will allow easier accessibility into Millie’s Garden and will ease the water issues that affect that area during heavy rainstorms. I welcome you to take a look at the ADA-compliant entrances to the garden that are now available from both our parking lot and from the Youth Services side exit.
I also want to let you know of an important project coming up in the near future. In mid-November the Library will embark upon a project to renovate all of our restrooms. This project will require the closure of our family restroom in the Youth Services Department from mid-November to early December. Our two main restrooms will be closed for approximately two months, starting in mid-December. While every effort will be made to minimize patron disruption, visitors will likely encounter noise and dust at times. Thank you for your patience as we embark on this essential renovation project.
