The Library Goes Mobile
Apps bring the Library to wherever you are!
Library Anywhere optimizes our catalog for your device, allowing you to search for and place holds on materials, and to check your account with ease. When you want to contact a librarian, it also links to our Ask BDL chat reference service. Find Library Anywhere in the Android or Apple app store, or go here
for a universal version.
With the Overdrive Media Console, you can search the Library’s collection of downloadable eBooks and audio books and download them directly to your device. These materials are free and never overdue. Android, Apple, Blackberry, and Windows are
supported. Be sure to note which file formats are compatible with your device. Find it here
The Library is also now active on Foursquare, a mobile social-networking app that allows users to ‘check in’ at various places and unlock special user deals. Compete with friends to become the ‘mayor’ of your most visited locations and enjoy library services at the same time. Download it here
