University of Toronto's Mississauga (UTM) Office of the Registrar team has earned a Quality and Productivity Award for AskRegistrar, a system which optimizes registrarial student services and staff workflow in a remote environment. Microsoft retiring Skype for Business on Jan. 31
|
|
Microsoft will retire Skype for Business Online as of Jan. 31, 2022. Until then, existing Skype for Business users at the University of Toronto (U of T) will experience no change of service. If your team is still using Skype for online meetings or in conference rooms, the EASI team recommends upgrading to Microsoft Teams. Read the full memo.

Absence Declaration enhancement
|
|
EASI released an upgrade to the Absence Declaration tool available in ACORN. The enhancement allows administrators to track current, past and cancelled absences with more detail, including date, course, session, instructor, students’ notes and administrators’ notes. The administrators’ screens for Absence Declaration are housed on the Online Administrative Student Information Services (OASIS) platform.

E-token to migrate to UTORMFA
|
|
Beginning in fall 2021, e-token authentication for high security logins will begin migrating to U of T's multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution, UTORMFA, which has already been adopted by over 9,000 members of the U of T community. Learn more about the UTORMFA migration process.
