Student Cluster Competition at ISC’12
One of the most exciting additions to ISC’12 this year is the
Student Cluster Competition, co-organized with HPCAC and sponsored by Airbus. The goal of the competitions is to derive the most possible application performance using less than 3000 watts.
If you are a student and HPC enthusiast, you can attend the Cluster Competition awarding ceremony for FREE on Wednesday. For registration details, click

Announcing HPC in Asia Posters
The HPC in Asia Workshop steering committee has selected 13
posters out of submissions from China, Japan and India. The researchers will present their posters during the workshop on Sunday, June 17.
As for the
ISC’12 Research Posters, the Poster Award winner is Christian Kehl, a PhD candidate at Delft University of Technology, for his poster on “Interactive Simulation & Visualization of Flooding Scenarios.”
All ISC and HPC in Asia posters will be displayed in the exhibition hall from Monday to Wednesday.
Live from ISC
At ISC’12, we will deploy a variety of information channels to disseminate the newest, coolest and most informative discoveries and developments during the entire conference.
On Sunday, June 17, all four TOP500 authors will be interviewed by HPCwire Soundbite hosts Michael Feldman and Addison Snell. On Monday, June 18, we will stream a selection of activities live from the Opening Session, the TOP500 announcement and the Hot Seat Sessions over the University of Hamburg website.
To spark discussions with the speakers, exhibitors and among attendees, we encourage all attendees to use the Twitter Hashtag
#ISC12 or
#ISCexhibit to tweet during the conference. We will also project tweets live in a few locations in the congress center and exhibition hall.
Thanks to our Media Partners
ISC’12 is proud to team-up with the following publications that serve the HPC community around the globe:
to provide live and daily coverage of our conference and exhibition from June 17-21.
Thanks to ISCnet and Mobile App Sponsors
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our network and mobile app
sponsors for their generous support during ISC’12.
Cisco will be providing us with Internet infrastructure during the entire conference. Technische Universität Dresden, University of Hamburg and Deutsches Klimarechenzentrum will also be lending us their generous technical support.
