When Jesus was asked how to enter the abundant, eternal life found in God's kingdom,

he invited those listening to love God and love their neighbors.

Do these things, Jesus said, and you will live (Luke 10)!

Love your neighbors

Join us this Saturday!

For the last few years, we have joined together with Project Peace East Bay to show up and provide tangible care and support for schools and organizations doing great work in our neighborhoods.
This Saturday, Open Door is showing up to three great (family-/kid-friendly) projects where we can tangibly love and serve those in our neighborhoods. Pick one of these three and join us!

(1) Crossroads/Young Lives (Concord)
(2) Contra Costa Interfaith Housing (PH)
(3) Piedmont Ave Elementary (Oakland)

The Season of Lent

Lament | Confess | Forgive

Ash Wednesday (March 6) marks the beginning of Lent, the 40-day journey toward Easter.

By paying attention to the burdens we carry, we enter in to prayer and spiritual practice to deepen our trust in the ongoing work of Jesus in our lives and in the world.

On Ash Wednesday, we will post four invitations (on Instagram/Facebook) to pause, pray, and practice as we enter this season of Lent.

Join a Circle

spaces of cultivation & connection

Each Circle we offer is an invitation deeper into life with God, with a specific driving question, guiding Scripture, and specific integrative practices to, with others, participate in God's work of cultivating and forming us into the image of Jesus.
