Bon Odori Festival
Saturday, July 20th & 21st, 2019
4:00–10:00pm (Sat)  |  4:00–8:00pm (Sun)

The 87th Annual Bon Odori Festival is this weekend! Everything you loved in the first 86 Bon Odori festivals, from dancing to eating to looking at displays to watching martial arts and enjoying taiko, will be back!

PNWJETAA will be there on Saturday, with a prime spot on the street (perfect for watching and dancing!) and a table in the beer garden ('nuff said). Come eat yakisoba, drink Asahi, and be sūpā genki with your fellow alumni! The the festival is also running on Sunday, in case you aren't able to join us on Saturday — or if one day of matsuri just isn't enough.

2019 JET Send-Off
Saturday, July 27th, 2019
8:00am – 11:00am  |  Seatac Int'l Airport

The next generation of JETs are ready! Are you?

It is time for that incredibly special day it all starts: Send-off Day!

Come join fellow alumni at the Seattle-Tacoma Int'l Airport to send off a group of shiny, brand new JETs who are coming from across Washington, northern Idaho, and Montana. We'll be meeting at the Delta Airlines check-in counter (look for the PNWJETAA banner!).

Come when you can and stay for however long you are able! Alumni and officers can expect to support the send-off by keeping everyone together, handing out swag, and returning promise letters from training — but please feel free to bring tissues, hugs, advice, snacks, and well-wishes! This is where the journey and the memories start!
