    Puerto Ricans 2013” Report

A new report from the Center for Puerto Rican Studies (Centro) titled “The State of Puerto Ricans 2013,” edited by Edwin Meléndez and Carlos Vargas-Ramos, collects the most current available Census Bureau data on the social, economic and civic conditions of the Puerto Rican population in the United States.

The 90-page report shows that the Puerto Rican community in the United States is not monolithic but rather diverse, and that Centro is at the forefront in the analysis and contextualization of this reality.
