    Join Centro’s 100 Puerto Ricans

To encourage individuals and organizations to record and document their experiences for future generations, Centro and a group of community volunteers have launched the 100 Puerto Ricans Campaign. The goal is to urge those who have made a difference in our community to donate their important documents to the Centro Archives which will expand and fill gaps in our collections.

    Growing Up Gonzales

"Growing up Gonzales" is a bittersweet comedy of two brothers growing up in the Puerto Rican section of the Bronx, whose coming of age is marked by the untimely death of their father. One actor plays both parts. The play is filled with the hearty characters, flavors and textures of the Bronx in the 1970s and displays a very witty understanding of life.
