Dear <<First Name>>,
My name is John Jackson, and I am the CEO of London Grid for Learning. I would like to personally invite you to a joint Adobe & LGfL roundtable discussion entitled, “Digital Skills for the Next Generation” that will bring together educational leaders from across the LGfL community to talk about the digital transformation that is impacting schools.
We have organised this event because we understand the challenges that today’s educators face each day to teach and engage students in our rapidly changing world, along with the demands by higher education institutions and future employers to have digitally literate students and graduates that can effectively navigate their future careers and lives.
Technology and creativity play a critically important role in helping future-proof our next generation. As a result, it requires having a digital strategy that supports and complements existing curriculums across all academies and multi-academy trusts. As a result, we want to have a conversation with you and peers representing schools across the country.
That is why we are inviting you to join in this short roundtable discussion taking place on Friday, 24th January from (10:00 to 11:30) at the Adobe Gallery Suite at Bett 2020 (Excel, London).
This event aims to provide you with valuable insights into understanding the importance of expanding and developing digital literacy and creative skills, and how they can contribute to the teaching and learning experience. For this event, we will be joined by a former school leader and ed-tech evangelist, Mark Anderson (@ICTEvangelist) who has been pioneering digital literacy in schools across the world. He has over twenty years of experience in the classroom and has successfully led faculty departments to purposefully link technology with pedagogy. Furthermore, he is an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Innovator, Microsoft Certified Educator and expert in mobile learning and associated pedagogies.
Space for this roundtable will be limited, and we encourage you to confirm your registration online. Additionally, if you have any questions or would like to have a conversation before the event, please do not hesitate to contact James at: firstname.lastname@example.org
On behalf of the LGfL and Adobe team, we look forward to seeing you at the roundtable.
John Jackson, CEO, London Grid for Learning
