The Power of Creativity in Your Classroom

This year, your classes (including you!) can have access to Adobe Spark and the entire collection of Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Through the partnership between LGfL and Adobe, all LGfL schools are offered free Adobe licenses, deployment support and training.

Spark makes it easy for you and your students to communicate ideas with stunning presentations, graphics, and short videos—in minutes. Students can demonstrate learning, tell a story, or convey a point of view by making high-quality reports, research papers, posters, writing assignments, presentations, and so much more. Pledge 2020 - Free Boost to Your Bandwith

Over the Summer, 200 schools have already been upgraded as part of the Pledge 2020 programme. To find out how much additional bandwidth you will receive Free Of Charge go to Sign in with your USO account to get a personalised update for your school or MAT.
This infographic sets out the rationale for Pledge 2020 – why it was needed for schools and what else LGfL are doing to ensure that your school/MAT can not only meet bandwidth pressures but is also future proofed. So what are you waiting for? Click on the "count me in" button - this is a FREE upgrade; there is no requirement to renew your contract.

Adobe Rush
One of the applications available to LGfL schools as part of Adobe Creative Cloud is AdobePremiere Rush CC. Rush allows teachers and students to produce amazing, professional looking videos and projects leveraging video and images. Please have a look at a story from RMIT demonstrating how students experience Rush
On September 23rd, select LGfL schools will have the opportunity to meet with Adobe to direct the future development of Rush. Adobe’s Rush Product Manager is visiting the UK to understand how video is incorporated into the classroom (what devices are used, what types of videos are created and for which types of assignments and how video it taught in the classroom), guide future feature development and to understand which video apps are being used in the classroom.
We are looking for 1-2 secondary teachers and 1-2 students from LGfL schools for 30 minute 1:1 interviews. Please do let us know if there are teachers in your school who are running video projects and would be willing to share their experiences and feedback to Adobe. Please email if you want to be part of the amazing journey with Rush!

DigiSafe Updates
To help you prepare for the new academic year, the DigiSafe team have:

  1. Updated our online Safety Policy and Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) templates to reflect the latest trends and legislation. These are ready for you to personalise for your school(s) – download now at
  2. Developed FREE New Face-to-Face Safeguarding Training for LGfL Schools. ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ makes it clear that schools must provide expert training for Safeguarding Leads and also keep all other staff up-to-date with the latest developments too. With this in mind, and against the background of the new RSHE (RSE/PSHE) curriculum which has 66 mentions of staying safe online, we’ve developed a new free training programme for your school – at no additional cost and delivered by some of the country’s leading experts. You can find more information and book now at Our new cybersecurity briefings for schools are delivered by City of London Police experts. These non-technical briefings and are ideal for School Business Managers, SLT and Tech teams. Don’t lose money or data because you weren’t prepared or aware of the risks. Please circulate this training information widely to colleagues ready for this new school year.
  3. Introduced a new series of TWILIGHT webinars – if it’s hard to get out of school, our 4pm webinars will cover new DfE guidance, livestreaming, bullying, youth violence, fake news, engaging parents / governors with online safety – sign up here.
  4. Chicken Shop Grooming - We have launched our poster campaign “There’s no such thing as free chicken” earlier this summer. The campaign highlights the dangers of this form of child exploitation, where young people on their way home from school are bought free food by an acquaintance or stranger over a number of days and start to unknowingly accrue debt. Download the poster, and find some excellent information, videos  and ideas to raise awareness  for your pupils, parents and staff here
