Masterpieces 2K19 Competition and Exhibition

Ephemeral Art Youth Workshop
Sun 7 April, 10am-1pm

Local artists between 13-25 years are invited to join CASM for an ephemeral art workshop with Alana Grant, including an introduction to working with sound in art. Participants will create an ephemeral art installation that explores their relationship to the local coast and waterways. Light lunch provided.

CASM Art History Seminars
With Frances Sullivan-Rhodes - Mon 29 April, 6.30pm

Cost $10

In the April session of this series of art history seminars, art historian Frances Sullivan-Rhodes will explore place and landscape and their significance in art, with a focus on the role of landscape in Australian art and identity.  Supper and the opportunity to mingle and network is provided after the presentation. All welcome.

Artist of the Month - Debra Petit
Debra is a Mandurah based mixed media artist who enjoys creating artwork with emotional content. She paints to express feelings and experiences of life, pushing beyond her comfort zone, experimenting with different materials, methods and subject matter. Her range of works include a combination of collographs, monoprints, collage and painting, reflecting on her life interests.

Community Youth Art Project - Facilitator/Designer


Seeking a local facilitator/designer to conduct a four week workshop with students from Halls Head Community College to produce a range of two dimensional designs that will form a vinyl wrap collage for a Western Power box.


Seeking an artist/graphic designer to arrange the final design for the wrap .


Quotations can be provided for one or both components of the project.

Upcycling Workshop Facilitator Wanted

Seeking an experienced and talented facilitator to run a series of recycling workshops in May and June 2019.


The Re-imagine | Re-purpose | Re-use workshops aim to teach participants how to upcycle and repurpose recyclable materials.

Applications are now open for the City of Mandurah ‘StartUp Smart Creative’ workshop. The program provides tools to start a new business, and is focused on hands-on learning about sustainable products development. Topics covered: How to develop a product, Identifying your target market, Branding, Marketing and promotion strategy, Pricing.

New take on Mandurah's History
Mandurah Community Museum - 3 Pinjarra Rd, Mandurah

Next time you are in town check out the new mural at the back of the Mandurah Museum, created by artist Jerome Davenport. The mural commemorates Charles Olaf Wilson (1838-1926), who played a significant part in the maritime history of Mandurah and his ill-fated boat Leviathan.
