Hi friends!

“Pay attention to what you pat attention to.”
- Amy Krouse Rosenthal

Attention is more valuable than ever before. Today we face a flood of distractions from billboards, shiny screens, and worldwide web of information. In the midst of a deluge of information, we scramble to focus enough time and attention on the projects, responsibilities, and relationships that are truly important to us, in the hopes of creating a meaningful and centred life.

Todd Henry introduced us to “the ping”, that addicting little tickle in the back of our minds that convinces us that what’s happening out there is more important than what’s going on right here, right now. It’s the itch that draws our eyes perpetually back to our phones, news feeds, or inbox. We crave time to do the things that matter, yet, in his words, “we think nothing of giving away our life [to the ping] 10 seconds at a time.”

What do you pay attention to?

I wrote a little book recently about attention. About living in the present, and cultivating a life of gratitude and curiosity. If you haven’t read it yet, it’s available as a free eBook on my website.

I’m also excited to let you know that a print version is now available! It comes in a pocket-sized version that’s perfect for throwing into a purse or pocket and pulling out whenever you need a quick reminder of what you need to be paying attention to. It's small, it's cute, but it holds an idea that I thought was important enough to put on paper. Get your copy here.

May you be mindful of what you pay attention to.

Thanks for reading!
