Classes to Fire Up Your Fall 
Ready to leave this frigid summer behind and fire up your fall?  Our fall course schedule is released and enrollment is open.  New and classic classes are filling up as students look to tackle creative projects and try their hands at new forms of art.  Fall is what’s hot so bust out your calendar and book your spot or get left out in the cold.

Go Big or Go Home!
Some of us can’t help but think big when we get creative. For those of you who have an appetite for super-sized art, here is a creative menu to satisfy your craving!

Concrete Sculpture 
Mondays • Sept. 27 – Nov. 15 • 7-10pm
For your home, for your garden, for the office or wherever, conceive abstract or conceptual forms and learn various methods of casting them in concrete.

Furniture Fabrication and MIG Welding
Mondays • Sept. 20 – Nov. 22 • 7-10pm

Make something spectacular out of steel!  Students have built benches, tables and even headboards in this fantastic class where you use your established welding skills and build an incredible piece of furniture.

Art of the One-Speed
Mondays • Sept. 20 – Nov. 22 • 7-10pm

It’s the one class that everyone’s been waiting for!  Take pride in your ride and build your own mountain bike frame in this class for experienced TIG welding students.

Introduction to Welded Sculpture
Tuesdays • Sept. 21 – Oct. 19 • 7-10pm
This beginner class is a favorite of the do-it-yourselfers.  Folks conceive and build fantastical sculptures for the home or garden in this class where welding and a cutting torch give you the confidence to build the extreme.

One Sheet of Plywood: Design/Build
Thursdays • Sept. 23 – Nov. 4 • 6-10pm
Sounds crazy, right?  It’s true.  Bring your ideas or pictures of something you’re inspired by or would like to build. Our talented instructors will guide you through the design and build process of creating your project out of one sheet of plywood.  Past projects have included a desk, bench, table and even a toilet.  That’s right, a toilet!  What fun idea will you bring to class?

Wood + Metal
Fridays • Oct. 1 – Nov. 19 • 6-9pm

Spaces are filling fast in this popular new class where you’ll build a pre-designed coffee table or leaning bookshelf in just eight nights.  No experience, only enthusiasm, is necessary.  Why buy it cheap and Swedish if you can build it with Wood and Metal?


Big Wheels Keep on Turnin'
Just added—two sections of Motorcycle Maintenance classes for all of you do-it-yourself motorcycle enthusiasts!  This is a popular class and fills up lightening fast so be sure to register and secure your spot now!

For the eco-conscious bikers, we’ve got a maintenance class to get your playa bike rarin’ and ready for The Man.  Learn basic bike mechanic skills to tune-up your ride in our popular Bicycle Mechanic Workshop.

Youth Weekend and After-School Classes
We’re winding down from our biggest summer ever!  More than 650 young artists got their creativity on in our studios during camps this summer.   Sparks flew, metal flowed, glass was sculpted, friends were made and fun was had by all!  We have weekend and after-school classes scheduled for those young folks who are ready to continue their industrial art passions this fall!
