A few snippets for Spring ...

Kuwait Flamingo Count
Flamingo counts in Kuwait
66,000 waterbirds were counted in Kuwait as part of establishing a new monitoring programme and conducting the first coordinated count for the International Waterbird Census. The UK survey season will soon be upon us – use our handy calendar and contact us to plan your survey needs.
Cobra Workshop
Project Cobra
The final Project COBRA conference was held in Brussels in January. WWT Consulting and project partners provided evidence to support policy advice given to the EU, and other organisations, that supporting communities is the most effective way to deliver sustainable development without destroying the environment.
Reed Cutting at Bushy
Bushy Equine Clinic
Our consultants got their hands dirty providing maintenance support on a wetland treatment system we installed for an equine clinic. The system is performing excellently and provides a great wetland habitat. Check out our Wetland Treatment System services or contact us for any wastewater treatment requirements you may have.
Northern Gannets
We've been working with Natural England to develop a new GIS tool – Seabird Mapping and Sensitivity Tool (SeaMaST). It can be used to assess potential impacts on seabird populations from offshore development and will inform marine spatial planning as well as identifying areas of sea usage by marine birds. You can read a paper on the tool here.
