WWT Consulting has been monitoring birds at sea around the UK from light aircraft for many years. Our aerial surveyors have seen much more than birds, recording a host of other marine wildlife species from whales to white-beaked dolphins, basking sharks and turtles. High quality urban green spaces are vital for the wellbeing of people and wildlife. WWT Consulting has been working with North East Lincolnshire County Council on an urban regeneration project to create a wetland park in the centre of Grimsby. Click for concept design Since 2004 WWT Consulting has worked with Twycross Zoo on improving water quality. This spring saw the completion of a 1.6 hectare wetland system comprising a mosaic of water treatment and wildlife habitat features. This wetland will treat all the effluent arising from their new visitor centre and animal enclosures. Click for more info
WWT Consulting was employed by the National Parks and Wildlife Service, Ireland, to design and oversee the fabrication of the interpretation for Ballycroy National Park’s new Visitor Centre.
