SWE RMS Quarterly Newsletter

SWE RMS is excited to celebrate the holidays and welcome the New Year after a successful 2022. During the end of 2022, SWE RMS participated in multiple national and local professional development events and social mixers. In October, 33 members attended the WE 2022 virtually and in Houston, TX. At this conference, our members were able to learn from inspirational speakers such as Dr. Phyllis Schneck, Vice President, Information Security, and Cyber Chief Information Security Officer, and gave insight about career planning when the sky is the limit. They also attended networking events with members from across the country, as well as a large career fair featuring hundreds of companies hiring from student internships to later career. Aside from WE 2022, SWE RMS hosted multiple social events such as fall hikes, local happy hours, and a virtual book club. SWE RMS also attended local professional development events and outreach events including Girl Scouts Days with Colorado School of Mines and Energy Day Colorado. SWE RMS has had an impactful and productive 2022 and is excited to build and create new partnerships in 2023.
