Fact or Fiction:
"The Key Man: The True Story of How the Global Elite Was Duped by a Capitalist Fairy Tale" by Simon Clark and Will Louch is yet another look at how the global capital system can be exploited by bad actors for billions in fraud. This time telling the story of a Pakistani venture to enable emerging markets that turned out to be about enriching the founder.  This is an interesting story and the authors raise great questions about the global venture and private equity markets. It reminded me of the book Billion Dollar Whale and books like this continue to intrigue me and are worthwhile reads as case studies on social engineering and finance vulnerabilities. (Amazon Link)
