If you made it to last night's John Campbell Lecture with Heather Brooke, you're probably as fired up as I am to challenge the royal household's culture of secrecy.
In her excellent speech, Heather reminded us just how important this issue is - it goes to the heart of everything that's wrong with the monarchy.
Hereditary power breeds corruption, nepotism and abuse of privilege. And as long as the royals are shielded from scrutiny - by being exempted from freedom of information rules, for example - we have no way of holding them to account.
That's why I'm asking you to help Republic expose the Palace for what it really is.
It will only take a couple of minutes...
So please, write a quick email to your MP via writetothem, tell them your own views on royal secrecy and ask them:
Writing to your MP really does make a difference. Our letter-writing campaigns have already led to senior royal aides appearing before powerful Commons committees - let's keep the pressure on!
what their own view is on the royal household enjoying an absolute exemption from the Freedom of Information Act
to pass on your concerns to Chris Grayling, secretary of state for justice (the department responsible for freedom of information policy in the UK)
to do all they can to raise this issue in Parliament.
Chief executive officer
P.S. If you couldn't make it last night, don't forget we're holding our very first Members' Day on Saturday November 2 - hope to see you there!
