The Flora Women’s Mini Marathon is the biggest all women’s event of its kind in the world and takes place on June bank Holiday Weekend 6th June 2011 in Dublin.
Around 40,000 women walk, jog, trot or skip the 10km (6 miles) course for charity.
It has grown steadily in numbers since it began in 1983 with its popularity increasing significantly over the last few years.
It is a very good opportunity to meet new people as the event is well known worldwide and many women from Spain, Italy, US, Canada, Germany, France, Norway, Iran, Saudi Arabia between other countries have all joined the fun in the past editions!
