NCI Director to Ignite Learning at AMS

Nature's Classroom Institute Director, Geoffrey Bishop, will be presenting, "Where do Dandelions Fly? Using Nature Experiences to Ignite Learning" at the American Montessori Society Annual Conference in March 2014. This presentation will focus children's connection to the natural world and the way that nature enhances their learning experience.

You Are What You Eat

Subjects: Science, Nutrition, Health

In this lesson, students will test various foods for protein, starch, sugar, fat, and acidity and learn how the foods they eat impact their everyday lives. They will also consider their own diets and compare these to the recommended allowance.

American Montessori Society Annual Conference

March 26-30, 2014

This conference is designed as a springboard for new ideas and fresh connections. Every year, teachers from around the world join us to share information, create new bonds and renew old ones, and embrace their enthusiasm for the Montessori Movement.
