DLC Alumna Departs Saint Louis Art Museum for Exciting New Opportunity

Sheila Manion, who has served as Director of Development and Campaign at the Saint Louis Art Museum since the beginning of its highly successful $145 million capital campaign, has accepted an important role at Saint Louis University as Associate Vice President for Development.  Sheila will be the University’s chief fundraiser, supervising a staff of 30 professionals. Sheila had previously served at the University as Director of Major Gifts prior to joining the Museum in 2004.

The Art Museum is at the $140 million mark in its campaign and is in the midst of its community phase, during which all members are being contacted for their support.

Sheila – a member of one of the earliest classes of the development Leadership Consortium – was named to the “Forty Under Forty” list in St. Louis in 2009. Clyde Watkins serves as the Museum's principal consultant.

U of C Lab Schools Campaign Increases Goal

The University of Chicago Laboratory Schools' campaign to raise $45,000,000 is progressing well – so well, in fact, that they have increased the goal to $55,000,000.  Work will commence soon after the first of the year on Lab's new Early Childhood Campus, and the campaign will also fund new and enhanced arts facilities, libraries, and community spaces. TW&B Chairman, Clyde Watkins, a Lab alumnus himself, has been consulting on the Lab Campaign from its inception.
