Chat Room Dialogue Brings Opening Session to Life  

The 2020 American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA) Virtual National Assembly got off to lively start Wednesday evening with the grand opening session and keynote address. The dialogue in the chat room, though, really brought the event to life.  MORE

Exhibit Halls Go Virtual  

Like educational presenters, vendors are adapting as exhibit halls go virtual, using the new medium to introduce and educate attendees about their products. To visit booths in the hall, attendees select the desired exhibitor from the list, and then can choose options that include meeting with the exhibitor or entering the virtual tradeshow booth. MORE

Day 2: Experiences and Observations  

Virtual conferences are new to many attendees but despite the unfamiliarity, they are finding a rich experience.  

James Young, CPO, FAAOP, Amputee Prosthetic Clinic, Macon, Georgia, shared: I was apprehensive about doing this online, but so far, I am impressed. The content is great, and I have never had a more comfortable seat at a conference. I do miss the networking and conversations with the people at the event. MORE
