We'd like to give our latest recruit Natalie Ray a warm welcome to the Lumina Search team as she joins us as our Operations and Research Coordinator. Natalie has joined Lumina after spending a year in Paris teaching English.
Also speaking fluent Spanish, she graduated with a degree in Politics and Spanish and practised theatre, studying for a year in Buenos Aires in the process. She speaks Spanish and French at a professional level, and Italian just for fun, which is very useful for our recent searches.
She'll coordinate Lumina’s day to day operations and the research process, offering assistance on high profile searches. She also organises and manages events, several of which we have in the pipeline.

Lewis Silkin Event
"TV Formats: looking ahead at the protection of rights"
|
|
Our friends at Lewis Silkin are running a free event in October aimed at those who work in TV Content as it'll explore television format rights protection in today’s multi-platform/channel media landscape.
Taking place in London on 1st October, it is being held alongside FRAPA (the Format Recognition and Protection Association), and the IFLA (the International Format Lawyers Association) and will share insights into:
- Recent case law and the impact on worldwide commercial exploitation of TV formats
- Key deal and contractual points for the successful monetisation of formats
- The on-going European Commission-led public consultation on the scope of the Audiovisual Media Services Directive and the potential impact on the monetisation and protection of formats.
