Traditional June graduation postponed

Graduation as we know it — a large gathering on our College Place campus — will not happen this June. In keeping with the current Washington state order limiting large gatherings and closing K-12 schools through June 19, as well as recognizing that many families need a final decision about graduation so that they can adjust travel and lodging arrangements, this year’s College Place graduation weekend has been postponed.

We are planning a virtual Commencement on June 14, 2020, followed by an in-person graduation celebration on our College Place campus in the spring of 2021. Visit for more details as they unfold.

Our Class of 2020 is a special and resilient group. If you know one of our WWU graduating seniors, be sure to take every opportunity to celebrate them as we welcome them into our alumni family!

Just in case we're still on... save these summer dates!

Sweets Baseball  |  July 8  |  Walla Walla, Wash.  Alumni night with the Walla Walla Sweets Baseball Club! If the game is still on, tickets will go on sale June 8.

Rosario Alumni Sabbath  |  August 28-30 |  Anacortes, Wash.  Come for Sabbath, or spend the whole weekend! If the weekend is still able to happen, registration will open on June 18.

Seattle and SoCal alumni, it was so good to see you!

More than 300 WWU alumni attended our Seattle (Wash.) and Loma Linda/Redlands (Calif.) alumni events in January and February. It was so good to be together again! Do you see familiar faces in these photos?
