Join our free art celebration outside Little Brook Park
We're working with Lake City Collective to hold an event to celebrate the new street mural in Little Brook! We'll be at the “Stay Healthy Street” space outside Little Brook Park (14043 32nd Ave NE) on Saturday, November 6 from 3-5 PM.

Join us to learn more about the art and enjoy the Chief Seattle Club drum group and storytelling with Ty Juvinel (Tulalip). We’ll have free food and giveaways. All are welcome!

Here’s a link to the event poster with translation into Spanish, Russian, Amharic, Arabic, and Somali.

More about the art
The street mural was designed by Seattle artist, Romel Belleza (Ilocano, Tlingit & Dishchii Bikoh N'Dee). The art was installed in partnership between the Seattle Department of Transportation and Lake City Collective to honor Native culture and welcome people to the Little Brook neighborhood.

Reminder to take our survey about the Stay Healthy Street!
We’re asking neighbors how the Little Brook Stay Healthy Street is working and what you think of making it permanent. Let us know by taking our survey, available in multiple languages:
Feel free to contact us with questions – thank you!

The Little Brook Stay Healthy Street pilot was a request from neighbors to create more space in the neighborhood for people to gather and play in a healthy way. With the community organization Lake City Collective taking the lead, many neighbors are enjoying the extra space with activities like basketball, gardening, exercise classes, and movie nights. All are welcome to join.

Take the survey on our webpage to share your input and whether you think it should be made permanent.
