Montessori Moment: Alumni Spotlight
Emily Kleine is a Montessori School of BG alumna. She attended through the sixth grade. She is currently a senior at Bowling Green High School.
Emily is a member of the National Honor Society, Squad and Section Leader in Band, a 4-H member (with superior rating each year) and maintains a 3.9 GPA.
Emily received the Black Swamp Arts Festival Visual Arts Scholarship and the BG Community Foundation Scholarship. She will begin college in the fall to study art therapy or market research.
She states, "I feel very prepared for life. The hands-on and independent learning and the peace activities had the biggest impact on me. The thing from MSBG I remember the most is the pink tower. I used it all throughout my times at Montessori, from playing with it to learning how to cube and calculate volume. I also remember the fantastic teachers and the encouraging learning atmosphere."
Stay tuned as we share other High School seniors’ accomplishments in the next few weeks.

GL Scrip Summer News
Our last weekly GL Scrip order will be placed on Tuesday, May 29th
Even though the school year is soon coming to an end, that doesn’t mean that there won’t be opportunities for you to earn tuition rebates through the summer. Although we won’t be placing weekly orders, we will place one order of physical cards on July 6th
. I will send out a reminder to GL Scrip registered participants shortly before that deadline so you can be sure to get your order in to replenish your cards.
In addition to the physical card order, GL Scrip offers a service called ScripNow! that delivers an electronic gift card directly to your e-mail account within minutes of ordering. This service is available at any time, 24 hours a day throughout the school year and the summer. You will receive the same rebate credit for these orders as you do for physical cards. Many cards have recently been added to the ScripNow! service. Below is a summary of the major cards that are available using ScripNow!

if you have any questions or need further instructions to sign up for GL Scrip. It is a great way to earn free tuition money year round!
For all of you that receive tuition rebates through your Kroger Plus card, please note that you must RE-ENROLL each card during the month of April in order to continue benefits without interruption for the coming year. The Kroger Community Rewards program year runs from May to May. At the end of each year, Kroger requires that each Kroger Plus member re-establish their link to MSBG or benefits will no longer be paid. Kroger has a designated pool of money that is given each quarter to those that are enrolled. Because it takes many members awhile to login and re-enroll, it really benefits you to login right away and receive benefits in the 1st quarter. The 1st quarter has historically been the largest payout per participant. So don’t delay – re-enroll today!!!
Instructions to re-enroll your Kroger Plus Card:
1. Go to www.kroger.com
2. Click the sign in button on the banner near the top of the screen and enter login info
3. Click on My Account
4. Click on Community Rewards and select “Edit Community Rewards Information”
5. For the 1st option, type in “80235” and hit “Search”
6. For the 2nd item, select “Montessori School of Bowling Green”
7. Save the changes at the bottom
8. Enjoy your tuition rebates for another year!
If you have any questions, contact Alisa.Suelzer@gmail.com. Also please let Alisa know if you register any new cards so that she is sure to credit your account for the rebates received.
