A Night of Worship & Prayer

The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:16

What a blessing it was to gather for Fervent: A Night of Worship & Prayer! The Chapel was completely filled as women gathered for prayers looking above, within, and around. As we worshipped, God revealed to us places we needed to repent. Women in need of all kinds of healing were prayed over. We sought the Lord together for marriages, our children, the lost in our city and world, and so many other needs. We could have prayed all night!

Thank you to Elizabeth Robinson, who so graciously and tenderly led our evening as we kneeled before our Lord and Savior. Thank you also, to Megan Manley and her very talented team, Laura Benedict, Katie Haring, and Sarah Peyton Ellerman, for our wonderful worship music!

PCPC Women's Retreat

We are thrilled to be planning another Women’s Retreat! Author and teacher Courtney Garrett will be our speaker, and she will help us uncover how a posture of confident expectation can shape how we view our seasons of waiting, culminating in our patient longing for Christ's return. Courtney is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and the founder of 101 Christianity, a ministry that creates foundational resources to equip women to know the truth and share the truth.

"My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him."
– Psalms 62:5

The Care and Counseling Ministry of PCPC offers two women’s care groups for women facing various kinds of sexual brokenness.

Unashamed

Unashamed is a place for women in any walk of life, facing any kind of challenge, to bring your brokenness and REST in the truth of Christ and His promises.

Unashamed groups provide a safe space to process issues in sexual brokenness, addiction, mental health, identity struggles, sense of worth, and beyond. You will be connected to other Christ-seeking women who meet you where you are, encourage you to come exactly as you are, remove your metaphorical masks, and be YOU. Unashamed allows us to be truly seen by others (flaws and all), helping us step away from societal norms and towards the Kingdom.

This closed group will begin Tuesday, September 16, so please contact care@pcpc.org for more information and to register.

On the Threshold of Hope (OTH)

On the Threshold of Hope (OTH) Support Group is a group for women who are survivors of sexual trauma and who desire to work toward healing and transformation.

This group provides a place where women can confidentially share their deepest pain and be understood. Since mind, body, soul, and relationships are damaged through sexual trauma, the healing of these areas will be at the forefront of all reading and discussions. Most importantly, group members will learn to lean into Christ as the ultimate Redeemer and Healer.

Please contact OTH@pcpc.org for more information and to register.
