Join AARP, Outreach and Others to Pack 1 Million Meals

Would you like to engage your family, employees, staff, and volunteers in a practical way to help the hungry? You can be a part of 8,000 volunteers needed on Friday, Sept. 11, from 8:00 – 4:00. In one day, volunteers will package 1 million domestic meals for hungry seniors, veterans and first responders in Washington, DC. The event will take place on the National Mall at the JFK Hockey Field, located between the Lincoln Memorial and World War II Memorial, beside the Reflecting Pool. Learn more and volunteer!

Together at the Table: Hunger & Poverty Summit
The Together at the Table: Hunger & Poverty Summit is an opportunity for leaders and practitioners from across the country to share their knowledge and expertise on addressing poverty, with a specific emphasis on food insecurity. The Summit provides evidence-based research and best-practice models for groups and organizations working in these fields. 2015 Borlaug Dialogue
Referred to as the "premier conference in the world on global agriculture", the Borlaug Dialogue will feature expertise and diverse perspectives of governmental leaders; policymakers; farmers; CEOs and executives form agribusiness and non-governmental organizations; and scientific, academic and development experts from around the world.
