Alliance Opening: AmeriCorps VISTA Leader

The Alliance to End Hunger is seeking a full-time AmeriCorps VISTA Leader to support the work of nine AmeriCorps VISTA members assigned to community-based coalitions across the country. These community-based coalitions or “Hunger Free Community” groups will measure hunger in their communities, create “hunger free” community plans, expand community partnerships and facilitate the participation of low-income community members. [READ MORE]

Climate-Smart Agriculture Roundtable

The Alliance to End Hunger is teaming up with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations to host a roundtable event on climate-smart agriculture. The event will feature voices from the corporate and non-profit spheres, and will facilitate a discussion on climate-smart agriculture techniques in the US and around the world. Panelists will discuss best practices for both adaptation and mitigation, and how these techniques should be supported. Learn more and register HERE.
