The Traditional Plan moves forward 

General Conference delegates spent February 25 as a legislative committee. When the day was done, the Traditional Plan advanced for action on Tuesday. 

After approving the Traditional Plan in the morning, General Conference delegates spent the afternoon debating and ultimately voting against the One Church Plan and the Simple Plan.  READ MORE.

Michigan young people reflect on the future

While delegates work on the floor of the 2019 General Conference, some young adults watch on the sidelines and wonder what the future holds for The United Methodist Church that they love.

Some urgent, overlooked and unknown implications of this General Conference will have a major impact on young adults and, particularly, young clergy who will be leading the church into a new generation.  READ MORE.
