Autumn news from Stiff + Trevillion
Beak Street

Second Ippudo Opens

Stiff + Trevillion completes second project for Ippudo: After completing the first Ippudo restaurant in Europe last year, S+T have recently completed their second outpost in Canary Wharf.  Again, working closely with Ippudo's architects, YAN, much of the interior has been inspired by Ippudo's Japanese heritage,
with many bespoke items imported from Japan.  An open kitchen brings the theatre of food preparation to diners.

S+T Residential Project shortlisted

Little White House on INSIDE awards shortlist:  Little White House, a 2014 'Don't Move. Improve!' winner, is on the INSIDE awards shortlist at WAF's sister event, the World Festival of Interiors. This project is the only UK shortlisted entry in its category.

Four projects gain planning consent

Four new projects get the green light: Portpool Lane, Camden EC1, is boutique new build office with residential on the upper floors.
Beak Street, Westminster W1 (left), a new build office with restaurant at ground floor level.
Love Lane EC2 in the City, (below left) sees a facade remodel with internal office fit-out and Cannon Bridge House, EC4 (below), also in the City, is a major internal and external office refurbishment.  Work is expected to start on site in the coming weeks.

Sydney Contemporary

Stiff + Trevillion were show architects for Sydney Contemporary: 10-13 September 2015. Sydney Contemporary is Australia’s largest art fair and presents over 90 galleries from 14 countries. For this year's Fair, Stiff + Trevillion developed a curved feature wall that flowed from the entrance and encouraged movement but didn't conflict with the architecture of the Carriageworks venue nor challenge the artwork on display. This curved wall is repeated in the VIP area and uses recyclable cardboard tubes.
