NICO’S PIER 38 WINS BEST POKE AWARD, FROM HAWAII FOOD REVIEWS

HONOLULU, HI (March 13, 2020) – Nico’s Pier 38, known for its incredible dining experiences featuring fresh local fish, recently won “Best Poke” in the Hawaii Food Reviews 2020 People’s Choice Awards. With more than 48,000 Instagram followers, Hawaii Food Reviews is one of Hawaii’s most popular food and drink sites.

The local fish is as fresh as possible, as Chaize is a regular face at the Honolulu Fish Auction, operated by the United Fishing Agency, a short walk from his restaurant on the pier. He and his team hunt for the best fish to serve customers, caught from Hawaii’s sustainable fisheries. That careful selection process leads to only the best fish for his creations, including award-winning poke.

Nico’s Pier 38 began as a pioneering, tiny plate lunch place serving auction fresh fish at a great price and local island favorites with Nico’s international flair. It has grown to more than four times its original size. The restaurant now buys more fish than any other restaurant, which allows it to still offer fresh fish at reasonable prices.

The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and fantastic live entertainment, along with a full bar, outdoor lanai, and a fish market with fresh fish, poke and bowls, Hawaiian food and Nico’s Pier 38 special dressings.
