Local B Corps Blaze a Trail

Literally and Figuratively!

Local B Corps, which are now recognized by the Montgomery County Green Business Certification Program, recently volunteered their time to clean and repair the Rachel Carson Greenway Trail in Silver Spring.  B Corps, which must meet a rigorous certification standard, are redefining success in business, extending their responsibility to the environment and society.  Learn more about these trail blazers using the power of business as a force for good.

Green Bank Info Session

Recently, Montgomery County became the first county in the nation to pass legislation establishing a local green bank.  Its purpose is to partner with the private sector to increase investment in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.  Join us on September 16th from 9:00 to 11:30 AM at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre in Rockville.
