Maryland law allows residents to invest in local small businesses

Maryland residents now have the opportunity to invest funds directly in small businesses and micro-enterprises based in Maryland and earn a return on their investment. Thanks to groundbreaking legislation passed in 2014, Maryland-based businesses can borrow up to $100,000 from residents of the State, and each individual can lend up to $100. Save $ and reduce your carbon footprint with an EDF Climate Corps Fellow

EDF Climate Corps is Environmental Defense Fund’s fellowship program, which places specially-trained graduate students in organizations to accelerate energy savings projects. Each fellow develops a customized set of recommendations for their host organization to cut costs and emissions through strategic energy management and energy efficiency upgrades. The application deadline is February 5.
