Dust-to-Digital in the News...Dust-to-Digital in The Economist

The current issue of The Economist features a profile of Dust-to-Digital, as well as Belle Mellor's beautiful illustration of our work as shown above. We are pleased that journalist Glenn Fleishman brought our non-profit Music Memory to their readership's attention. If you enjoy the article, please share it with your friends.

We are very grateful for the positive response to the three titles we published last November: Drop on Down in Florida, Pictures of Sound, and Lonnie Holley's Just Before MusicThere are several magazines on newsstands right now that do a terrific job telling the stories behind the albums. Bret Love brings several of the musicians from Drop on Down in Florida to life in the current issue of Georgia Music Magazine. Duncan Cooper pieces together a gut-wrenching interview with Lonnie Holley for Fader, and Greg Tate explores aspects of Holley's experience in the art world for The Wire.

In addition, here are a few articles that are available online:
Drop on Down in Florida reviewed in Black Grooves
Pictures of Sound: Seven Sound Recordings Made Before Thomas Edison
Pictures of Sound: Unheard Voices: Sounds from the Past
Lonnie Holley's Just Before Music reviewed in The Washington Post
Images from the Lonnie Holley photo shoot for Fader

Finally, a quick note about media formats, we are constantly receiving inquiries about the formats in which certain titles will be released. In response to your requests, Lonnie Holley's Just Before Music and its follow-up will be released on vinyl later this year. As for our past vinyl-only titles, they will be made available on compact disc very soon.

Thank you for your continued support!
