WSDG Announces TEC Award Nomination for Jungle City Studios

New York's Newest Destination Studio Nominated for Outanding Creative Achievement in Studio Design

WSDG is proud to announce that New York's newest destination studio, Jungle City, has been nominated for an Outstanding Creative Achievement Award by the TEC (Technical Excellence & Creativity) Foundation. The studio, which has been covered in publications such as The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Mix and many others, is the epitome of elegance and acoustical excellence. The $6 million studio represents the dawn of the ‘Retro Future/Future Retro’ era, and sets a new benchmark for destination studio design. Voting for the TEC Awards takes place during the month of November.

Studio founder/engineer Ann Mincieli has invested ten+ years’ experience as Alicia Keys' engineer/album coordinator/studio director, and work with artists ranging from Coldplay to Usher and Jay-Z, to re-invent the destination studio. The 10th floor features two autonomous audio production suites (Icon and Euphonix), each with individual iso booths and private lounges, dedicated to providing clients with cusp-point technology. Extensive north and south-facing windows provide each suite with the rare opportunity to work in natural daylight.

Each year, the TEC Foundation honors outstanding achievements in audio technology and production across several categories with its TEC Awards. To learn more about Jungle City Studios, visit Jungle City on the WSDG website.
