LD Falcon Athletics This Week
Congratulations to the Falcon Soccer team – Saginaw Tournament Champions! The team won the tournament on Saturday evening by defeating Little Elm in the final, 2-0.  This is the first tournament championship for the Falcon Soccer program.

FOUNDATION DELIVERS 25K IN GRANTS
 
The Lake Cities Education Foundation (LCEF) Prize Patrol delivered $25,000 in educational grants to LD teachers and staff for innovative and enrichment project proposals. The patrol surprised grant recipients with the presentation of balloons, flowers and a big check.

Lake Dallas ISD is proud to join the Texas Women’s University Pioneer Promise Partnership. The purpose of this agreement is to form a partnership dedicated to college readiness and success for students graduating from partner districts and matriculating to Texas Woman’s University.

TWU will offer unconditional admission to juniors ranked in the top 25 % of the class at the conclusion of the academic year, assuming the students graduate with a recognized college preparatory diploma and satisfy Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirements. TWU will provide a $2000 scholarship to each high school principal in the partner districts every year to award to a graduate attending TWU.
