Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

Bible Bhavan wore a festive look with banners flying high, special exhibition and a brand new Diamond Jubilee Hall. From a humble beginning in a rented shop, DBI operates now in 7 centers in seven locations in North India. Over 700 guests seated in two halls celebrated God's faithfulness and the marvelous provision of discipling and training over 30,000 students from all over India and abroad. This has resulted in the establishment of several thousand Churches. It was a time when we could look back with gratitude the impact of this ministry in raising thousands of leaders all across this nation thus serving and strengthening the Church in a significant manner.

The first celebration on 13 September was with the leaders and pastors of Delhi. Rev. Dr. James Emery White, eminent author, Founder and Senior Pastor of Mecklenburg Community Church in Charlotte, North Carolina was the speaker for the evening. Noted former Bollywood singer and now gospel singer Vijay Benedict presented a brief concert.

30 leaders comprising of former team members and leading Pastors were honoured for their service to the Lord.

The celebration ended with the inauguration of the Diamond Jubilee Hall and a banquet. The guests received a commemorative mug as souvenir.

The same programme was repeated for the Bible Bhavan Christian Fellowship on Sunday the 14 September. This church has faithfully stood with DBI these 60 years and continues to support it in many amazing ways. Over 600 attended the joint service.
