Coronavirus Campaign Update
On January 23, Give2Asia launched its coronavirus response fund for China. At the time, the novel virus had already killed 132 people.
Today, that number is nearing 5,000.
Thanks to the incredible support of corporate and individual donors, we raised over US$5 million to fund local Chinese nonprofits. Here are just a few examples of what they were able to provide:
- 43,000 isolation gowns to 3 hospitals in Wuhan
- 30 blood diagnostic machines and 20 ventilator machines across 5 cities
- 50,000 meals for medical staff and patients

We're expanding our campaign to fight the pandemic
Now that the coronavirus has spread, we need your help to support other communities at high risk.
Today, we're expanding our COVID-19 response campaign to support local nonprofits in 9 new locations: India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan (China), Thailand, and Vietnam.

Why donate through Give2Asia?
The COVID-19 pandemic will affect communities worldwide. However, some locations will be hit harder than others. Response capacity also varies dramatically.
We understand that many donors' first priority will be caring for those at home. Once those immediate needs are met, we encourage you to support those in overseas communities you care about...especially those where resources are limited.
Give2Asia's staff and advisors are in regular contact with local nonprofits across the Asia-Pacific. Our in-country staff are able to evaluate new nonprofits—and assess the capacity of existing partners—to ensure your donation will be impactful.

Double Your Impact with Employee Giving
Does your employer match charitable donations? Give2Asia works with most major employee giving programs, including Benevity. Ask your plan administrator to add Give2Asia to your company's offerings. You can also ask about making a donation on Give2Asia's website and submit the receipt for matching.
